Change in the technology world is marching inexorably forward as evidenced by the digital universe that is changing our lives. Accepting the status quo is making the decision to follow and not lead. Technablement was founded on the premise that there is a need to bridge technology with business/mission requirements and modernize applications to drive transformational user experiences.

Jay Mulford is partner and founding member of Technablement, LLC whose mission is to provide consulting services to drive business outcomes via product positioning, business development, technical team enablement, demand generation programs and partner enablement. Mulford partners with other affiliates that provide complementary services such as branding, digital, proposal writing, IT services, and cyber security assessments. Technablement is focused on high tech solution domains such as: IT infrastructure, data analytics, as-a-Service models, IOT, DevOps and cyber security.

Mulford is a technology executive with over 30 years of experience building customer-centric solutions and high performance teams. Mulford led the Systems Engineering team at Dell EMC Federal since 2013 and accountable for multi-billion-dollar sales goals. These team members are trusted advisors whose presence is felt at all US Federal agencies and major systems integrators driving data center consolidation, hybrid cloud, big data analytics, and edge solutions. Mulford led the Services organization at NetApp Public Sector where their services business grew over 250%. He was directly involved in several large program pursuits and solution design such as Navy Nextgen, Army deployed systems, Intelligence Community, State Department enterprise, VA modernization and many other programs. At Convera Mulford led the solution design teams and helped commercial clients build large scale data analytics applications. Early in his career he worked at IBM on Air Force space programs and was instrumental in building next generation systems architecture and the build/deploy framework for satellite command and control applications.

Mulford is known for leading organizational transformation and he repeatably operationalized structured methodologies to gather and analyze customers’ requirements and align technology roadmaps to achieve technical, business and mission objectives. This included IT infrastructure design, multi-tenant cloud, data resiliency, security design, systems integration and application development and deployment.

Mulford holds Bachelor degrees in Computer Science from University of Maryland and Economics and Political Science from Hobart and William Smith College. He is a member of AFCEA and likes to give back with volunteer activities to support our troops and childhood education.
